County councillors Penelope Morgan (Langland), Clive Smith (Link), Richard Burt and Link Top Sub-postmaster Gurd Virdi with some of the returned postcards.
Up to one in three of the postcards distributed by Liberal Democrats in areas surrounding threatened post offices have already been posted back to local parliamentary candidate, Richard Burt.
Mr Burt will now forward all the returned cards with residents' comments to the Head of the Post Office Consultation Team, Mark Partington.
Richard said:
"I have already received nearly 250 postcards from residents who want to save Link Top Post Office, over 220 from Poolbrook Residents and over 100 from Rushwick.
"This represents up to one in three returns from those we distributed and demonstrates how strongly local people feel about the prospect of losing their post office.
"More cards are still coming in, so I will wait until the last minute before presenting them to Mark Partington, the Head of the Post Office Consultation Team.
"Every single card tells a story about why these post offices should not close. They should send a powerful message to the Post Office that nobody in the community agrees with what the Labour government seems determined to push through."
